My mission is to connect research and management to strengthen healthcare organisations and health systems, helping teams and their leaders work effectively under real-world constraints and adapt to changing conditions.

My main focus is on:
• Shifting decision-making power from ‘upper levels’ to those who work directly with patients and communities.
• Creating organisational environments where health workers can speak openly about problems and mistakes, learn from both failures and successful everyday practices, and adapt rules to real work (and not vice versa).
• Improving the capacity of health systems to withstand present and future threats by building effective communication, networks, and knowledge exchange.

My work is grounded in operational reality. I integrate evidence and field experience to support teams and organisations through epidemics, crises, climate-related pressures, and resource limitations; periods of change such as scaling, transformation, healthcare technology implementation, and international expansion; and the everyday work of strengthening quality, governance, and organisational performance. I work with health systems at different levels – community and primary health care, hospitals, national health systems, and international healthcare improvement.

I translate complex ideas into practical tools that support better decisions, stronger teams, and more resilient health systems.
